Terms of Service
Last updated 4 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and ALTR Collective when you use Motherboard. They are short on purpose: if anything here is unclear, email crew@altrcollective.com and we will tell you plainly.
Getting in
Motherboard is invitation-only. An administrator of your organization creates your account and decides which boards, deals and sections you can see. Using the app means you accept these terms.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell your administrator or us if you think someone else has used them. Work done under your account is treated as your work.
What you put in
You keep the rights to what you upload. You give ALTR Collective the permission it needs to store, display and back up that material so the app can do its job for your organization — and nothing more.
You are responsible for having the right to share what you add, including client material, draft content, and the personal details of contacts and invoices.
Keep it fair
Do not use Motherboard for anything unlawful, fraudulent or spam-like; do not infringe anyone's intellectual property; and do not try to reach another organization's data, break the app's access rules, upload malicious code, probe for weaknesses or scrape the service. We can suspend or end access for a serious breach of these terms, unpaid subscriptions, a security or fraud risk, or repeated violations.
Other services you connect
Signing in with Google or Lovable, or connecting Google Drive or Google Calendar, means those services' own terms apply to the parts they handle. They can change how their services work, which can affect features here.
Plans, payment and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, renewal and cancellation are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Ownership of Motherboard
ALTR Collective owns Motherboard and everything that makes it up — the software, design, documentation and the Motherboard name. Using the app does not transfer any of those rights to you.
What to expect from us
We build Motherboard for daily professional use, but it is provided as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and we can change, add or remove features. Your organization's administrator can pause or end your access.
Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, ALTR Collective is not liable for indirect or incidental loss arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. If something goes wrong, your organization's administrator is your first contact — and we are reachable at crew@altrcollective.com.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking things through is heard by the courts of Sweden, with the ordinary rules about where you can be sued if you live outside Sweden.
Leaving
Your organization can remove your access at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account. Work records your organization needs for its own obligations stay with them.
We update these terms when the app changes; the date at the top shows the last revision. Continued use after an update means the new terms apply.
