Privacy Policy

Motherboard is the internal operations app ALTR Collective runs for agencies and their creator teams. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers every organization that uses Motherboard.

Who we are

ALTR Collective builds and operates Motherboard and is the data controller for the personal data described here: we decide why and how it is processed. For anything about this policy, or about personal data held in the app, email crew@altrcollective.com.

Each organization using Motherboard has its own workspace and its own administrators, who are responsible for the people and the work records inside it.

What we collect

Account details. Your name, email address, which organizations you belong to, your role in each one (Crew, creator, Superadmin, Finance and so on), and a profile photo if you add one.

How you sign in. A hashed password if you use email sign-in, or your name, email address and photo from Google or Lovable if you use one of those buttons.

Work you put in. Deal boards, deals, budgets and agreed shares, tasks and notes, briefs, synopses, contracts, documents, comments, drafts and other files you upload, links to live posts, and CRM details such as contacts, companies and invoicing information you choose to save.

Activity that makes the app work. Aura points, badges and level history, game progress in Aura Farm, log-in and visit records, and your notification settings.

Connected services. If you or your organization connect Google Drive or Google Calendar, we store the connection itself and the files or calendar events that connection creates, in that organization's own Drive folder and calendar.

Notifications. If you allow browser or phone notifications, we store a device token so we can send you the alerts your settings ask for.

How we use it

To show the right people the right boards, tasks and numbers; to run the workflow your team works in — drafting, approvals, live links, reports and invoicing; to send the notifications and emails your settings ask for; to keep a history so your team can see what changed and who did it; and to keep the app secure and running, including error reporting and backups.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not build advertising profiles from it.

How Motherboard accesses, uses, stores, shares and deletes Google user data

What we access. When you choose "Continue with Google", Motherboard asks Google only for your basic profile: your name, email address and profile photo (the openid, email and profile permissions). We do not read your Gmail, contacts or any other Google data through sign-in.

How we use it. Only to create and sign you in to your Motherboard account, show your name and photo to your team, and send you the emails your settings ask for.

Drive and Calendar. If an organization administrator connects Google Drive or Google Calendar, Motherboard uses that access only to create and update the deal folders, files and calendar events that organization's work needs. It does not read unrelated files or events.

Sharing and storage. Google data is stored in Motherboard's secure hosted database and is never sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone except the service providers that host the app. People do not read it except when you ask for support, for security reasons, or where the law requires.

Retention and deletion. We keep your Google profile data only while your Motherboard account is active. You can remove Motherboard's access at any time from your Google Account's security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions), and email crew@altrcollective.com to have your account and the Google data we hold deleted within 30 days.

Motherboard's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who can see it

Inside your organization. Only the people your organization's access settings allow. Board and deal access is decided there; Superadmin and Finance roles see more by design.

Outside it. The platform, storage and email providers that host Motherboard and deliver its messages, and Google for the services your organization connects. They act on our instructions and only for the purposes described here.

Our payment partner. Motherboard subscriptions are sold through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle receives the billing details needed to sell the subscription, take payment, handle tax and issue invoices. We also share data with professional advisers (such as accountants and lawyers) when needed, and with authorities when the law requires it.

Creator campaign links. A shared creator link shows only the deal content behind that link, and only to someone who has the link's own address.

How long we keep it

While your account is active, and for as long as your organization keeps its own work and accounting records. When a file or record is removed it leaves the live app; short-term backups may still hold a copy until they roll over.

Your choices

Email crew@altrcollective.com and we will show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete your account and personal data where your organization's records allow it.

You can stop notifications at any time from your browser or phone settings, or in the app. If you are a creator working with an agency on Motherboard, your day-to-day access is managed by that agency's administrator.

We follow Swedish and EU data protection law. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, tell us first — and if we cannot put it right, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).

Keeping it secure

Every page needs a sign-in and checks what you are allowed to see before it loads. Uploaded files sit in private storage that only opens through the app, and campaign links use their own unlisted address. No system is perfectly secure — if you think an account has been misused, tell us at the address above.

Children and changes

Motherboard is a work tool for invited adults. It is not directed at children.

We update this page when the app changes; the date at the top shows the last revision.
